About Me

Ebony began her career as a grant writer for New York City's child welfare system. After establishing and funding numerous programs for youth aging out of foster care, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment writing. Combining her passion for marketing and writing,  she landed a marketing role at NBCUniversal, where she developed campaigns for shows such as Brooklyn 99, The Good Place, The Voice, Billboard Music Awards, Superstore, and Young Rock. She conceived the award-winning campaign "Peacock Knows Comedy" and created the first NBC Entertainment Content Creator program to develop interns into NBCU content creators.

Currently, she's enjoying her role as Creative Director of Copy at AMC Networks, where she established and leads the company's first-ever Brand Voice team. This role is instrumental in shaping the unique voice, tone, and style of all AMC Networks' brands, including AMC+ (Streaming), AMC (Linear), Shudder (Horror), Acorn TV (British), ALLBLK (African American), We TV (Reality), IFC (Film) and HIDIVE (Anime).

Ebony has developed the Brand Voice team to oversee and manage duties that include brand guideline development, paid media copy, promo and podcast scripts, key art taglines, audience messaging guides, website content, and conceptualizing campaign-level ideas for award-winning shows like Better Call Saul, The Walking Dead, Interview with the Vampire, and more.

Her proudest moment to date is being recognized by the CLIOS as a trailblazer within the entertainment marketing industry. "In this era of entertainment, there's no formula. Everyone's trying to figure it out. I want to be a part of "what's next," something new, innovative, fresh, and different. The passion for what's to come excites me."
